Dovato is a complete, two-drug, single-tablet HIV-1 treatment for adults who have never taken HIV medicine before, or to replace the current HIV regimen in people who are virologically stable. It combines dolutegravir and lamivudine in one pill once daily.

As a two-drug regimen, Dovato exposes patients to fewer drugs with no compromise in efficacy, which may reduce long-term side effects.
